Description
We developed new video streaming capabilities and migrated applications to the AWS platform. Further, we provided maintenance of the legacy system, improvement of development processes through best practices, and QA automation. Sirius XM wanted to transition from a broadcast company to a provider of cloud-based streaming services. However, the challenge extended beyond a simple migration since they wanted to use TIBCO Businessworks, a technology framework that employs plug-ins and results in a complex data structure.
Challenges
Sirius XM was determined to expand their programming to online and mobile platforms and broaden their offerings from purely audio to include video and live video. This required transitioning from a broadcast company to a provider of cloud-based streaming services. Because they wanted to use TIBCO Businessworks, a technology framework that employs plug-ins and results in a complex data structure, the challenge extended beyond a simple migration. Sirius XM needed software engineers who could create new services and features to be able to keep up with listener demand.
Solution
We provided Sirius XM software engineers who could create new services and features to be able to keep up with listener demand. Some features we added were uninterrupted access to customers' favorite music and podcasts, whenever and wherever they want it and video streaming.
