Create An Petrobras Intranet App

Our client is the 7th biggest energy company in the world, with operations in the entire oil and gas productive chain and in the production of biofuels and of other alternative energy sources.

With the hopes of enhancing viewers’ of the World Cup, they wanted to create an intranet app that would give users access to participate on game events and prizes based on the World Cup progress. More than 100,000 users were going to access and play the games online.

Our Game Team built the intranet from scratch in a quarter of the time normally required for an app of this caliber. Using latest Microsoft Technologies as the core, the site was developed in 2 months and delivered 2 weeks before the Soccer World Cup South Africa 2010 started. As a crucial feature of this app is the ability to access and view information from the world cup live. The user was able to play games based on game results, goals made, highlighted players, red and yellow cards, among others. The magnitude and interest of the users made this Petrobras site, the most viewed during that year.
